BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
LOUISVILLE & NASHVILLE RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: "Claim of the System Committee of the
Brotherhood that-
(1) The contracting out with the St. Louis Freight Collection
Bureau for the performance of certain work, and the removal of
same from under the scope and operations of the Clerks' Agreement
violates the terms of said agreement, and
. (2) That the said clerical work shall be restored to the scope
and operations of the Clerks' Agreement to be performed by clerical
employes holding seniority, and entitled to the work, under terms of
the Clerks' Agreement."
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds that:
The dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board
ex parte by complainant party.
No hearing thereon has been had, and, under date of October 27, 1938,
the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary
of the Third Division withdrawing this case.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
