SOUTHERN PACIFIC LINES IN TEXAS AND LOUISIANA

STATEMENT OF CLAIM: "Claim of the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks, Freight Handlers, Express and Station Employes on the Southern Pacific ines in Texas and Louisiana that the rate of pay of H.. Jost, Timekeeper, San Antonio, be adjusted to provide for payment curren y at the rate of $5 40 per day and that proper adjustment be made retroactively to compensate him for underpayment in the period from January 27th, 1932 to date, the underpayment being the difference between $4.80 and $5.00 per day from Jan. 27th, 1932 to Aug. 1st, 1937 and between $5.20 and $5.40 per day from August 1st, 1937 to date."


FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds that:

The dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party.


No hearing thereon has been had, and under date of March 8th, 1939, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case.




Case dismissed.
