STATEMENT OF CLAIM: "Claim of the General Committee of the
Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks, Freight Handlers, Express and
Station Employes on the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railway under
the provisions of Rules 66 and 69 for the restoration of position of Chief
Local Abstract Clerk, rate $230.00 per month, in office of Auditor Freight
Traffic and reimbursement of all employes aected for all monetary loss
sustained as a result of abolishment of this position effective March 6,
1940."
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parts by complainant party;
That no hearing thereon has been had, and under date of July 31, 1940,
the parties jointly advised the Secretary of the Third Division of their desire
to withdraw it from further consideration by the Division, which request
is hereby granted.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
