SOUTHERN PACIFIC COMPANY (PACIFIC LINES)
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
"Claim of the General Committee of The
Order of Railroad Telegraphers on the Southern Pacific Company, Pacific
Lines, that Telegrapher C. E. Alvis be compensated under the provisions of
Rule 10 of the agreement in effect for deadheading, Bakersfield to Ravenna,
March 7th and 8th, 1938, and Ravenna to Bakersfield, March 13th, 1938, one
hour overtime at emergency rate March 11th, 1938, and for service per
formed at Lang, San Joaquin Division, March 14th to 30th, inclusive, 1938."
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That this dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parts by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been had, and under date of February 11,
1941, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
