STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that A. E. Wilford be paid a full day's pay at Gate Maintainer's rate for January 13, 1940, when he was allowed to remain idle while Carpenter Foreman Ditmire repaired gates at the 19th Street Crossing at Watervliet.


FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:

That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by complainant party;


That this Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein; and


That hearing thereon has been held and concluded. Under date of June 23, 1942, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this dispute, which request is hereby granted.




Case dismissed.
