STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood:
1. That preparation of tonnage report is assignable to employes
in seniority section
21.
2.
That position preparing tonnage report be bulletined in, and
assigned to an employe of seniority section
21.
3. That successful bidder be retroactively compensated to August 1,
1940,
for any monetary loss sustained by reason of the Carrier's failure
to assign this position to seniority section
21.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parts by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of July
1, 1942,
the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of
the Third Division withdrawing this case.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
