STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:
(a) The correct annual assignment of the Cashier's position at Baytown is 306 days; also
(b) Claim that the daily rate of pay be adjusted so that the earnings of the position on a 306 day annual assignment will be the same
as they were on a 365 day annual assignment; also
(c) Claim that the Cashier be paid an additional day's pay at the
rate of time and one-half for each Sunday and holiday retroactive to
the date the position was restored in January 1941.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held and under date of August 27, 1942,
the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of
the Third Division withdrawing this case.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
