BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS, FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that--
(1) Carrier violated agreement rules when it failed and refused to assign Baggage Checker H. A. Wilson, to temporary vacancy in the position of ticket clerk at the St. Joseph Union epot for the period August S to 16, 1941, but did assign a majority of the work of said ticket clerk position to the General Agent who was not covered by current working agreement.
(2) Carrier should be required to reimburse Mr. H. A. Wilson, and other employes affected, for all monetary loss sustained by reason of such agreement violation and to assign any future extra ticket work to Mr. H. A. Wilson when his seniority rights entitle him to such work.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of July 12, 1943, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
