PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS, FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES




STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of System Committee of the Brotherhood that position now designated as General Clerk, Portola, California rate $6.90 per day, held by W. A. Soule, be re-classified to that of Revising Clerk, rate $6.30 per day, and that all employes filling this position since November 3, 1937 be paid the difference between what they have earned and what they would have earned had the position been properly classified and rated at $6.30 per day since that date (November 3, 1937).


FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:

That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party;


That this Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein; and


That hearing thereon has been held and concluded. Under date of July 16, 1943 the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of the case, which request is hereby granted.




Case dismissed.
