PARTIES TO DISPUTE:





STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Conductor E. H. Castle, Chicago Southern District, claims additional pay for service performed on lay-over and relief days during the first half of November, 1942, said additional service being a complete round trip in Line 526.


FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:

That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party; and


That this Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein; and


That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of September 2, 1943, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case which request is hereby granted.




Claim dismissed.
