BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS, FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:
(a) The Carrier violated the rules of our current agreement when it failed to assign Miss Margueritte Cayot to Position MW-29, Maintenance of Way Timekeeper, in office of Auditor of Payroll Accounts, San Francisco, California, advertised on vacancy notice No. 463, May 27, 1942.
(b) Miss Cayot now be placed on Position MW-29, Maintenance of Way Timekeeper in office of Auditor of Payroll Accounts, or, if the position has been abolished subsequent to the filing of our claim, Miss Cayot be permitted to exercise displacement right the same as if she had been occupying the position at the time of its abolishment.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of September 7, 1943, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
