STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the Joint Council Dining Car Employes, Local 351, Hotel & Restaurant Employes International Alliance, for and in behalf of Mr. A. J. Billingslea and others similarly situated, for compensation retroactive to March 1, 1941, to September 1, 1941, for deductions from his wages for board and lodging while in service, and lodging at awayfrom-home terminals.


FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:

That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party;


That this Division of the Adjustment Board has jurisdiction over the dispute involved herein; and


That hearing thereon has been held and concluded. Under date of September 8, 1943, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this dispute, which request is hereby granted.




Case dismissed.
