STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of The Order of Railroad Telegraphers en the Southern Pacific Company, Pacific Lines, that extra Telegrapher Meda D. Shields was not used by the Carrier in accordance with the provisions of Rule 21 (g) of the Telegraphers' Agreement and that on the basis of her seniority she is entitled to compensation on the dates of April 6 to 11, inclusive, 1942, at a rate of 98.5$ an hour rather than 80¢ an hour, which she received on the position she was called to fill.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of March 21, 1944, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case, which request is hereby granted.
