STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
Claim of the System Committee of the
Brotherhood that-
(1) The carrier violated and continues to violate the Clerks' Agreement
when it permits and requires Mr. Jarmin, Local Freight Agent, Sheridan,
Wyoming, to perform the following clerical work, namely:
Making 22 Report, requiring one hour each day;
Making Average & Demurrage Report, requiring one hour each
day;
Checking salvage on O. S. & D. at consignee's place of business,
requiring one-half hour each day;
Making Grain Report, requiring one-quarter hour each day;
Making Feed Report, requiring one-half hour each day;
Making Tonnage Report, requiring one-quarter hour each day;
Making deposits at bank and handling pay checks, requiring one
hour each day;
Handling Unemployment Insurance records, requiring one-half
hour each day;
Performing rate cierk work, such as rating outbound and inbound
billing, requiring one hour each day,
making a total of six hours.
(2) We request that this work be restored to employes within the Sheridan Seniority District and that all employes, who were entitled to do this
work in accordance with their seniority, and have been denied same, be
reimbursed for wage loss suffered retroactive to June 8, 1940, the date the
protest and claim were filed.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by complainant party; and

That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of March 31,
1944, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the
Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which
request is hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
