THE PULLMAN COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: The Order of Railway Conductors, Pullman
System, claims that The Pullman Company violated Rule 13 of the Agreement-
(1) when, on June 16, 1943, it established Conductor Operation on
PRR Trains 44-537 and 506-5, between Chicago and Petoskey, Michigan, Line 2395, providing for relief en route in excess of the provisions
of Rule 13, and
(2) that the Conductors involved shall now be compensated for all
monetary loss incurred since June 16, 1943, by reason of this violation.
Rules 6, 12, 13, 20, 55 and 56 are involved.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held and under date of July 5, 1944,
the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of
the Third Division withdrawing this case, which request is hereby granted.
AWARD
Claim dismissed.
