BROTHERHOOD OF RAILROAD SIGNALMEN OF AMERICA



STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of G. E. Rhodes, Foreman, D. J. Deere, Leading Signalman, and W. H. Shriver and R. W. Barton, Signalmen, members of Signal Gang No. 5, Portland Division, for reimbursement of expenses incurred for meals during September, October and November, 1942, while working at Oakridge, Oregon (a point not assigned as their home station). by direction of the carrier. Specific amounts claimed are as follows: G. E. Rhodes, $71.70; D. J. Deere, $76.45; W. H. Shriver, $12.40; and R. W. Barton, $50.40.


FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:

That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex pane by complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held and under date of August 18, 1944. the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.




Case dismissed.
