BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
CHICAGO UNION STATION COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
Claim of the System Committee of the
Brotherhood that:
(A) The carrier (Chicago Union Station Company) violated and continues to violate the clerks' agreement when, effective February 1, 1944 it discontinued the position of Assistant Ticket Agent
and assigned the majority of the duties thereof to the position
of Ticket Agent, a position not covered by the clerks' agreement; and
(B) That the position of Assistant Ticket Agent be re-established,
bulletined and assigned in accordance with agreement provisions;
and
(C) That the successful applicant be compensated for all wage loss
sustained, retroactive to February 1, 1944.
FINDINGS:
The Third Division of the Adjustment Boards finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of September 29,
1944, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request
is hereby granted.

Case dismissed.
