PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES



STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:


(a) The Auditor's notice of March 4, 1944, addressed to All Concerned, requiring regular Saturday afternoon work is a violation of the Clerks' Agreement; also


(b) Claim that all employes affected by the Auditor's notice March 4

1944, be paid additionally at the rate of time and one-half for all work performed on Saturday afternoon March 4, 1944, and on all subsequent Saturday afternoons.


FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:

That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by the complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of December 7, 1946, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of the case, which request is hereby granted.




Case dismissed.
