PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS, FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES




STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks, Freight Handlers, Express and Station Employes:


1-That the Carrier violated the rules of the agreement effective Feb. 16, 1944 and the wage agreement by instructing the employes in the ticket office at Charleston, S. C. on Dec. 13, 1945 to stop the solicitation of the sale of Travelers Accident insurance and continued to violate said agreements until March 23, :1946 at which time the instructions were cancelled, and


2-That the carrier shall reimburse the following employes in the amounts listed below being the loss in wages of 30 percent commission on in surance premiums and which was a part of their wages for the period of December 13, 1945 to March 23, 1946.









That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by complainant party; and


That no bearing thereon has been held, and under date of August 5, 1946, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.




    Case dismissed.
