STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:


(a) The Carrier violated the Clerks' Agreement at Palestine, Texas February 11 to 16, 1946, inclusive, when it failed and refused to fill position of third trick Ticket Clerk for the full eight hours of the assignment. Also


(b) Claim that Ticket Clerks Atkinson and Gilliam be paid for that part of the eight hour tour of duty they were not permitted to work.




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of September 13, 1946, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Sec-

retary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
