STATEMENT OF CLAIM: The Order of Railway Conductors, Pullman System, claims for and in behalf of Conductor S. J. Weiss, Philadelphia District, that he should have been given the 12:30 P.M. to 5:30 P.M. station duty assignment at Philadelphia on December 31, 1945 when it was known that he would have less hourage credit for the month than the conductor who was assigned to that station duty job, and compensation is requested for the five hours' work denied him.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of July 23, 1947 the complaint party addressed a formal communication to the secretary of Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
