PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

BROTHERHOOD OF RAILROAD SIGNALMEN OF AMERICA



STATEMENT OF CLAIM: (a) Claim that Leading Signalman S . R. Smith and Signal Maintainer C. P. Gould be properly compensated for time worked and/or claimed between 2:00 P.M. and 5:00 P.M. on their regularly assigned working days between April 2 and 14, 1945.


(b) Claim that they also be properly compensated for the difference between straight time and time and one-half time for periods they were required to work outside of their established eight-hour day between April 2 and 14, 1945.




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held and under date of October 2, 1947, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case, which request is hereby granted.
