PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
THE PULLMAN COMPANY
ORDER OF RAILWAY CONDUCTORS, PULLMAN SYSTEM
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: The Order of Railway Conductors, Pullman
System, claims for and in behalf of Conductor C. H. Lanford of the Atlanta
District, that the rules of the Agreement between The Pullman Company
and its Conductors were violated, when
(1) on June 14, 1947, Conductor Lanford was removed from
his assignment in Line 2027 in Atlanta, which assignment is attached to the Wilmington, North Carolina, District and therefore
not under the jurisdiction of the Atlanta District, and
(2) we now ask that Conductor Lanford be credited and
paid for the return trip in the assignment from which he was wrongfully removed, from Atlanta to Wilmington, North Carolina.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of February 20,
1948, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the
Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which
request is hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
