STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:


(a) The Carrier is violating the Clerks' Agreement at Taylor, Texas by refusing to reduce the annual assignment of the Chief Clerk's position from 365 days to 306 days with necessary adjustment in the rate of pay so that the annual earnings will remain the same. Also


(b) Claim that the Carrier be required to reduce the annual assignment to 306 days and increase the daily rate of pay so that the earnings for 306 days will be the same as now received for the 365 days, retroactive to the date the violation was called to the attention of the Carrier.




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held and under date of October 6, 1948, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case, which request is hereby granted.
