CHICAGO, ROCK ISLAND & PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY

STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood:


(1) That the Carrier made improper deductions from the compensation paid Crossing Flagman Albert Earl, Cedar Rapids, Iowa, because of alleged overpayments made to him during the period January 2 to July 10, 1946;


(2) That Crossing Flagman Albert Earl be reimbursed for these improper deductions made by the Carrier.




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held and under date of March 1, 1949, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Acting Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case, which request is hereby granted.
