PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES



STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that the Carrier violates the rules of the Clerks' Agreement at Barberton, Ohio, when on August 10, 1947 and all subsequent dates thereafter the Carrier assigned Roster "A" clerical work, assigned to and previously performed by Mr. C. H. Bick a Roster "A" employe to a Roster "B" employe holding no rights to the performance of Roster "A" work, and


That the Carrier shall compensate Employe C. H. Bick and W. L. Hertle, his successor, for one hour daily at time and one-half rate of position of Chief Clerk retroactive to August 10, 1947 and until violation of the Clerks' Agreement is corrected.




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party; and '


That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of March 3, 1949, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Acting Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
