STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Protest and claim of the Order of Railway Conductors, Pullman System, that Rule 64 of the Conductors Agreement was violated when on October 18th, 1947, cars 381, Line 2385 and 161, Line 2362 in service were permitted to leave Harrisburg on a section of Pennsylvania train No. 580 without a Pullman conductor in charge.
Claim is now made in behalf of Conductor B. R. Kline who was available and willing to perform this service for credit and pay for a deadhead trip Philadelphia to Harrisburg and for a service trip Harrisburg to Philadelphia for which he was not used.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of May 20, 1949 the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Acting Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case, which request is hereby granted.
