PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

ORDER OF RAILWAY CONDUCTORS, PULLMAN SYSTEM

STATEMENT OF CLAIM: We contend that The Pullman Company violated Rules 25, 38 and 64 of the Agreement between The Pullman Company and its Conductors, when

1. On December 6-7, 1947, three Pullman cars in service, namely "Piqua" operating in Line 3227, "Wenatchee" operating in Line 2719, and "Veronese" in Line Special, were permitted to operate from Flomaton, Alabama, to New Orleans, Louisiana, without the services of a Pullman conductor.

2. We now ask that Conductor J. H. Logan of the Birmingham District be credited and paid for a deadhead trip, Birmingham to Flomaton, and for a service trip, Flomaton to New Orleans.

That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party; and

That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of May 20, 1949 the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Acting Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case, which request is hereby granted.
