STATEMENT OF CLAIM: * * * claim of the Order of Railway Conductors, Pullman System, in which it is contended that The Pullman Company violated Rules No. 25 and No. 48 of the Agreement between the Pullman Company and its Conductors, when on October 1, 1946, Atlanta District Conductors were assigned to operate in Line 2789 between Dothan, Alabama, and Panama City, Florida.
We contend that the work in this Line properly belongs to the Conductors who hold seniority in the Birmingham District, and we now ask that the Conductors of the Birmingham District who were entitled to this work be compensated for each trip they were denied the right to perform the work in Line 2789 between Dothan and Panama City, effective October 1, 1946, and subsequent dates.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held and under date of May 20, 1949, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Acting Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case, which request is hereby granted.
