PARTIES TO DISPUTE:

BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,

FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES




STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks, Freight Handlers, Express and Station Employes that the Carrier violated the Clerks' Agreement:


1. When on December 8, 1947, it abolished position of baggage clerk, rearranged the hours of service for the forces in the Ticket Office and Baggage Room at Wilmington, N. C. and placed contract covered ticket office work on the Ticket Agent who is not covered by any Agreement, and


2. That Mr. R. R. Breece, Jr. whose position was abolished on December S, 1947, shall be paid for all time lost resulting from such violation.




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of October 21, 1949, the complainant party addressed a formal commumcat on to the Acting Secretary of the Third Division withdrawing this case, which request is hereby granted.
