PARTIES TO DISPUTE:





STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of The Order of Railroad Telegraphers on The Pennsylvania Railroad, that:


1. The Carrier violated the provisions of the Agreement between the parties when, on July 13 1947 it declared abolished the positions of Block Operators at "BURR" Block Station, Indianapolis Division, and transferred the work of these positions to employes outside the Agreemet;


2. The Block Operator positions at "BURR" shall be restored; and the regular employes who were thus displaced returned to their assignments;


3. All employes adversely affected by this violative act shall be compensated for all monetary loss of earnings, travel time and expenses.




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant partv; and


That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of February 5, 1951, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Acting Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
