PARTIES TO DISPUTE:



THE CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY OF NEW JERSEY

STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of The Order of Railroad Telegraphers on the Central Railroad Company of New Jersey,


(1) that the Carrier violated the terms of the Telegraphers' Agreement when on May 16, 1947, it declared abolished the three telegraph operator positions at Ashley, Pa., without in fact discontinuing the work previously performed by the three telegraph operators at that point and transferred the work of those positions and assigned the performance of the same to employes not covered by the Telegraphers' Agreement; and


(2) that the work formerly performed by the three telegraph operators at Ashley telegraph office shall be restored to the Telegraphers' Agreement and performed only by employes coming within the scope of such agreement; and


(3) that all employes adversely affected by the Carrier's action in arbitrarily removing from the Telegraphers' Agreement work previously performed by the telegraph operators at Ashley shall be compensated for all monetary losses sustained, plus any necessary expenses incurred.




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of February 13, 1951, the complainant arty addressed a formal communication to the Acting Secretary of the Thir Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
