CHICAGO UNION STATION COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of The
Order of Railroad Telegraphers on The Chicago Union Station Company;
that,
1. the positions in the South Branch Bridge Office at Chicago,
Illinois, now classified by the Carrier as "levermen" shall forthwith be reclassified to "telegrapher" positions;
2. the rate of pay of these three so-called "levermen" positions
shall be adjusted to conform with the rates of pay of the
"telegrapher" positions at "GB" Office, Chicago, Illinois, in the
same seniority district, retroactive to April 8, 1948, the date
this claim was initiated.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of April 13,
1961, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the
Acting Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case,
which request is hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
