BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS, FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:
(a) The Carrier violated the Rules Agreement, effective May 1, 1942 particularly Rules 4-A-2(a), 4-C-1 and Paragraph IV-I(1) of Supplemental Agreement "A" when it required Clerk J. G. Free to suspend work on Tuesday, July 5, 1949 and to work on Sunday, July 3, 1949, Freight Station, Sparrows Point, Maryland, Maryland Division.
(b) J. G. Free, or his successor, be paid for time lost on Tuesday, July 5, 1949 and the difference between straight time allowed and punitive time on Sunday, July 3, 1949 and continuing for each Tuesday and Sunday until corrected. (Docket E-699).
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of December 3, 1951, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Acting Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
