STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that,

(a) The Carrier violated the rules of the Clerks' Agreement when it denied the requests of Clerks Wm. F. Jerome, Angela Azzolini and James Riordan, for assignment to temporary vacancies in the office of Auditor of Disbursements on April 5th, 1951, and

(b) The Carrier shall now compensate the claimants for wage loss sustained, from April 2, 1951 to April 16, 1951, as follows:

FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:

That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by the complainant party; and

That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of February 15, 1952, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Acting Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
