BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS, FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES




STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:


(a) The Carrier violated the provisions of the Rules Agreement, effective May 1, 1942, as amended, particularly Rules 4-A-2'(c) and 4-C-1, by not permitting Olive D. Richardson, Telephone Operator, Telephone Exchange, Altoona Works, Altoona, Pennsylvania, to work her regular position as Telephone Operator on February 23,1950.


(b) Olive D. Richardson, Telephone Operator, be compensated for eight hours at one and one-half times her regular rate. (Docket A-77.)




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by the complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of May 29, 1952, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Acting Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
