THE ORDER OF RAILROAD TELEGRAPHERS
THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: "Claim of the General Committee of The
Order of Railroad Telegraphers on The Pennsylvania Railroad; that
The Carrier's action in arbitrarily consolidating the agency stations of Mt Washington and Woodberry, Maryland and the placing
of Mt. Washington Agency under the supervision of the Agent at
Woodberry, Maryland without proper negotiation by and between
the parties was in violation of the provisions of the applicable agreement; and
That these stations shall be separated and the incumbent who was
regularly assigned to Mt. Washington Agency at the time the consolidation occurred shall be restored to that position and all employes adversely affected by the Carrier's arbitrary action shall be
compensated for all monetary losses sustained."
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parts by complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of August 22, 1962
the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary
of
the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby
granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
