PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
THE PENNSYLVANIA RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the
Brotherhood that:
(a) The Carrier violated the Rules Agreement, effective May
1, 1942, amended September 1, 1949, particularly Rules 3-C-2 and
4-A-8, at the Freight Station, Indianapolis, Indiana, by abolishing
two regular gangs effective March 20, 1950.
(b)All employes adversely affected be compensated for all
monetary loss sustained as a penalty during the period March 20
to April 28, 1950, inclusive. (Docket W-742)
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of November
26, 1952, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the
Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which
request is hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
