STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:


1. The effective Agreement between the parties was violated commencing Sunday, April 20th, 1952, at Bridgeport, Conn., when the Carrier discontinued a Sunday Call for Clerk Fred Pitt and instructed various Assistant Baggagemasters to discontinue their regular duties part of every Saturday and Sunday, and perform work assigned to Clerk Pitt's position from Monday to Friday, inclusive.


2. That Clerk Fred Pitt now be compensated on a call basis under the provisions of Rule 55-B of our Agreement for every Sunday commencing April 20th, 1952, and to continue until this matter is adjusted.




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by the complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of February 27, 1953, the complainant party adressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
