BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS, FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the District Committee of the Brotherhood that:
(a) The Agreement governing hours of service and working conditions between Railway Express Agency, Inc., and the Brotherhood of Railway and Steamship Clerks, Freight Handlers, Express and Station Employes was violated at the Seattle, Washington Agency when G. W. McKay was removed from his regularly assigned position August 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31, 1951 and required to perform service on position regularly assigned to V. H. Tallman, and
When A. R. Swain was removed from his regularly assigned position August 27, 28, 29, 30, 31 September 4, 5, 6, 7 and 10, 1951 and required to perform service on position regularly assigned to J. D. Webb; and
(b) G. W. McKay shall now be paid the rate of pay of his regularly assigned position for each day he was required to perform service on an assignment other than his own, in addition to the amount already paid him for working the position other than his own, and
A. R. Swain shall now be paid the rate of pay of his regularly assigned position for each day he was required to perform service on an assignment other than his own, in addition to the amount already paid him for working the position other than his own.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of February 27, 1953, the complainant party adressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
