BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS, FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES



STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:


(a) The Carrier violated the Clerks' Rules Agreement, effective May 1, 1942, particularly Rule 4-C-1, because it used a laborer to fill position of washman, tour of duty 4 P. M., to 12:30 A. M., at the Laundry, Dining Car Department, Sunnyside Yard, Long Island City, Long Island, New York.


(b) D. F. Landucci be compensated for eight hours each date, at punitive rate, for August 26 and August 27, 1953, and any subsequent dates until


adjusted. (Docket 6153)



That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by the complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of October 13, 1955, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
