FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
ILLINOIS CENTRAL RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that:
(a) Carrier violates rules of the Clerks' Agreement when it
fails and refuses to compensate Mr. W. C. Carlisle, Clerk, Vicksburg,
Miss., for holiday pay for November 25, 1954, and,
(b) Mr. W. C. Carlisle shall now be compensated for 8 hours
at pro rata rate for November 25, 1954.
FINDINGS:
The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and 'under date of January 11,
1956, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this came, which request
is hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
