STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the General Committee of The Order of Railroad Telegraphers on the Norfolk Southern Railway that the Carrier violated the agreement between the parties when it failed and refused to assign extra operator-clerk Daisy H. Weeks to perform service as operatorclerk at Washington, North Carolina on March 7, 8, 15, 16 and 17, 1955; that the Carrier shall now be required to compensate claimant Weeks to the extent of eight (8) hours' pay for each of these days she was improperly denied her right to this employment.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That hearing was waived and under date of May 28, 1956, the parties jointly addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
