BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES

GEORGIA SOUTHERN AND FLORIDA RAILWAY COMPANY

STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood that


(a) The Carrier violated the Agreement between the Parties when, at the Tifton, Georgia, Agency it required or permitted the Agent, an employe not covered by the Agreement, to perform the work of position of Bill Clerk, the regular assignee being on vacation, and


(b) The Carrier shall now additionally compensate Claimant, Mrs. Thelma Peterson, Chief Clerk, eight (8) 'hours per day at proper rate of time and one-half for September 6, 7, 8, 9, 12, 13 and 14, 1955, the dates Bill Clerk Mayo was on vacation and his duties were performed by the Agent, an employe covered by another Agreement.




That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by the complainant party; and


That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of August 10, 1956, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
