BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood:
(1) That Carrier violated the Clerks' current Agreement when it required W. W. Dean and W. L. Sitton, Freight Accounting Department, Tyler, Texas, to suspend work on their regularly assigned positions and perform work of an entirely different character than covered by their assignment.
(2) That the above named employes be reimbursed for loss suffered, as follows: Mr. W. W. Dean for two hours on April 3, 1951, four hours on June 20 1951, three and one-half hours on June 25, 1951, or a total of nine and one-half hours at the rate of his regularly assigned position; Mr. W. L. Sitton for two hours on April 3, 1951, at the rate of his regularly assigned position. This claim also to cover all subsequent dates until the violation is corrected. The above to be in addition to their regular compensation.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of November 20, 1956, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
