BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the Brotherhood:
(1) That Carrier violated the Clerks' current Agreement, commencing on or about August 1, 1949, when the assigned duties of the Price-Invoice Clerk position, Stores Department, Pine Bluff, Arkansas, was increased to include the handling of the Accounting pertaining to invoices and vouchers without, at the same time, increasing the rate of pay on the position.
(2) That the position of Price-Invoice Clerk be re-rated at the proper rate of $21.16 per day instead of the present rate of $16.11 per day.
(3) That Air. J. C. Mayhugh shall now be paid the difference between the amount actually received and the amount he should have received if this position had been properly rated from August 1, 1949, until this position is properly rated.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of November 20, 1956, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
