BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee, of the Brotherhood:
(1) That Carrier violated the Clerks' current Agreement when,' on April 25, 1955, it abolished Camp Steward positions on Extra Gangs Nos. 1, 5, 7; T and 8-T, while the work of the said positions yet remained.
(2) That Messrs. Dewey Burnside and W. B. Jenkins and any other Texarkana Dining Car Department employes, who may be affected, be reimbursed for any monetary loss for which they, may have, or might suffer, as a result of the Carrier's action in abolishing the Camp Steward positions April 25, 1955, and until the violation is corrected.
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of November 20, 1956, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is hereby granted.
