PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
THE WESTERN PACIFIC RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM:
This is a claim of the System Committee of
the Brotherhood that:
(a) Carrier violated the rules of the Clerks Agreement by hiring
Clerks L. E. Parkerson and D. A. McMurray as Comptometer Operators in the office of comptroller and General Auditor, San Francisco,
and only using them for three days per week.
(b) L. E. Parkerson now be compensated for two additional
days in the week beginning September 29, 1954, and D. A. McMurray
be compensated for two additional days for each of two weeks, one
beginning October 27th and the other beginning November 3, 1954.
All payments to be made at the rate of $14.43 per day.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parte by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of December 6,
1956 the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request
is hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
