PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
ATLANTIC COAST LINE RAILROAD COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the
Brotherhood that:
1. The Agreement governing hours of service and working
conditions between the parties was violated by the Carrier at Florence, S. C., on June 4, 1956, in the treatment accorded stationhand
Edgar Sanders in dismissing him from service, and
2. Employe Edgar Sanders shall be restored to service with all
rights unimpaired and compensated for wage loss sustained beginning June 4, 1956, and subsequent thereto until restored to service.
FINDINGS:
The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of December 16,
1957, the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request
is hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
