PARTIES TO DISPUTE:
BROTHERHOOD OF RAILWAY AND STEAMSHIP CLERKS,
FREIGHT HANDLERS, EXPRESS AND STATION EMPLOYES
SOUTHERN RAILWAY COMPANY
STATEMENT OF CLAIM: Claim of the System Committee of the
Brotherhood that,
(a) The Carrier violated the Agreement when, in the office of
Auditor of Freight Accounts, Station Accounting ureau, Atlanta,
Georgia, it failed to bulletin and assign a vacancy on the position
of Head Bond Clerk.
(b) The position of Head Bond Clerk shall now be bulletined
and assigned and the successful bidder compensated for all loss
sustained by reason of the Carrier's failure to bulletin the position
as required by the Agreement.
FINDINGS: The Third Division of the Adjustment Board finds:
That the dispute was certified to the Third Division of the Adjustment
Board ex parts by the complainant party; and
That no hearing thereon has been held, and under date of April 2, 1958,
the complainant party addressed a formal communication to the Secretary
of the Third Division requesting withdrawal of this case, which request is
hereby granted.
AWARD
Case dismissed.
